In 2005, Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan was ranked the 80th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes Magazine. She is married to KingAbdullah bin Al-Hussein and has four children.
She’s gained worldwide recognition before forty by championing many causes, among them women’s rights, helping the poor, and destroying misconceptions about Islam.
She is involved in multiple international organizations that promote these causes, and others like the World Economic Forum. Plus, in 2006 she was on Oprah. She also holds the honorary rank of colonel in the Jordanian Armed Forces.
Plus, admit it, you think she’s hot.
(Oh, also I changed the name of this blog because I hate hate hated the way it looked in Google Reader. Sorry if I’m throwing you off or anything.)
